Rashika Chauhan (b. 1977) is an architect with a degree in Design and also the proprietor of VIKRAMA Architecture and Design in Vadodara. Chauhan specialises in residential interiors and her range of work covers Spas, Music School, Landscape Projects, Club houses, Restaurants, Boutiques and Weekend Homes. The wide spectrum of her projects is a deliberate design move to experiment with various scale and spaces – be it architecture, planning, landscape, interior design, homes, commercial structuresor corporate buildings.
Chauhan graduated from the Institution of Environmental Design, Vallabh Vidyanagar and earned a Master’s Degree in Design from the University of Technology, Sydney. Her initial training was with celebrated firms like Karan Grover and Associates and Vijay Matai and Associates after which she went on to do various freelance projects on her own. She founded VIKRAMA Architecture and Design in 2009 with a firm belief that ‘God is in the details’.
It is in those minor details – what the client wants, what the environment can offer or how best can the space be utilised – that Chauhan finds her inspiration from.
