Bengal Library Chair

A British colonial library chair with hand caned seat & back and hand turned front legs. A wide slightly inclined seat and an ever so slightly curved back rest makes it extremely comfortable to be in for longer periods. Each arm has 6 elegant spindle supports. It is a good chair to read in or watch TV with your feet up on a foot stool. This piece is reproduced in teakwood and hand polished. The caning weave is a ‘7- Step’ pattern.
