This year Vivid Sydney is all set to sail with myriad events, shows, talks and musical delights. It will be beginning on 26th May and ending on 17th June. It is the largest festival of its kind with a huge schedule of exciting events. You should head to the Darling Harbour to witness the most outstanding light installations of the festival. The ‘Gift of Sight’ will exhibit a large number of incredible artworks that can be viewed only with the aid of special UV flashlight. On the other hand, the ‘Magicians of the Mist’ subtly brings together the wonders of light and technology in the form of an astonishing spectacle of light projections, water fountains and fireworks. The Royal Botanic Garden will also showcase some of the best light installations. The Rocks are also not to be missed for some of the most eye-catching and thought-provoking installations. Moreover with Cadman’s Cottage transformed into a phenomenal 3D space by MUSIC box, the melange of music and colour will certainly leave you enthralled with a never before kind of experience! The ‘Organic Vibrations’ is also an event that is a must-attend part of the festival.

The events will also shed a spotlight on Toranga Zoo, a wonderful comeback from last year’s spell-binding light sculptures. This year it will be a completely interactive event with the light sculptures coming to life. The musical extravaganza is also set to thrill you with the rhythms from American folk rockers Fleet Foxes to Melbourne favourites The Avalanches.
