Design Basics has brought style and warmth into a typical office space, aided by a drama of colours, textures, materials and a fine attention paid to details. The firm led by designers Rohit and Dipali Ghuste neatly demarcate the functional zones with spaces sans walls and the reception acting as the node. The only ‘walls’ in the entire space are of the cabin partitions which are made of glass and provide a feeling of lightness along with a visual connect throughout their length.
Because storage was a point stressed by the client, the designers made ample provisions for it along the entire length of the walls and windows. The contemporary design style of the office deviates from the open public decor to a warmer and cosier tenor in the main cabin where wood and glass complement each other.
The designers have given the volume a distinct identity which not only satisfies the client’s prerequisites but also satiates their ambitions.
