This cafe is a part in the chain of restro-lounge belonging to the brand Coffee Culture, which had started with the idea of incorporating the culture and adapting to the context where it settles in.

For architects Neil Parekh and Pooja Parekh, a project is like a blank canvas where they create a harmonious painting through creative placement of the paraphernalia of that space.  The 2750 sq. ft. area of this café gave them ample space to put their creative ideas into practice.

This cafe is based in Vadodara, a city in Gujarat famous for its art inclination and heritage. Responding to the context, the architect duo started with the idea ‘not’ to design an art cafe but to create surfaces which would act as platform to showcase art in an ever changing manner, keeping the space perennially dynamic.

Elements such as triangulated multifaceted metal ceiling wherein varied art installations are suspended and an unfolding exposed brick wall which allows seamless transition from one space to another amaze the visitors.

All the outlets are different from one another, but there is a Piet Mondrian inspired metal framing which connects them all. The spaces may evolve according to the trends running through the city, making it an ever changing timeless place. The café has been transformed to an interactive space where even the design elements interact with each other harmoniously.
