Designers Neesha Alwani and Shruti Jalan believe that simple concepts well executed and innovatively used materials make for the best of designs. The badly planned apartment boasted of a stunning seaward view that was exploited in the restructuring the ensued where intermediate walls were taken down and the spaces reconfigured. The main door was shifted to create an entrance vestibule instead of opening up directly into the expanse of the living room and the view beyond; and the kitchen was compressed to include an open den in the scheme.
