Aureole means a circle of light or brightness around a person; the name of this hotel led to the design concept of the rooms - it spoke wellness, radiance and inner light. To steer away from the stereotypical hotel room, and make the rooms more endearing Minnie Bhatt designed each of the 6 floors differently. Creating a new brand that is exciting with no staid precedent followed in terms of visuals. The design concept for the rooms on the second floor emerged from two words, comfort and familiarity .The rooms here are modern and simple, yet have classical details in its furniture. On the third floor the design team wanted it to have a different take on a hotel room design...the concept came alive when they designed the rooms, creating wall panels with cut outs for every object, like the hair dryer, tea kettle, suitcase, and a few cut outs added to enhance the concept and bring a smile to the face of the guest. The fourth floor was inspired by nostalgia and poetry. This led Minnie Bhatt to create the room with the headboard of the bed as the highlight. After a lot of trial and error, she managed to get famous poems digitally printed on the veneer of the headboard. This is the first thing that catches the eye, in an otherwise soft and serene room. The fifth floor rooms were designed around the hammock that sways by the window. Minnie Bhatt wanted a minimal modern room on this floor, with a custom hammock that makes the room endearing to the guest. The hammock brings to mind, holidays, relaxation, fun and comfort The sixth floor being the top most floor of the hotel, required the rooms to be more premium. The architect designed a two- poster bed, a contemporary take on the age old royal four poster beds. The side tables are designed with rounded triangular shaped tops, and the easy chair by the window, is a fairly large one that hugs you when you sit on it.
