To satiate the desire for a calm and peaceful retreat for the dwellers of the bustling and colourful city of Rajkot, the skills of architect Ishwar Gehi was employed to create a project named ‘Belle Vista’. With the task at hand of being truly synonymous with the needs and personalities of his clients, Gehi keeps the décor simple, clean and neat. There is no ostentation. It is just sober sophistication that comes through, via the juxtaposition of design and carefully selected artefacts. The bright red and blue splash on the walls adds the required zing. Every chair in the house ensures that you are in a posture that reminds you of being on a holiday. A striking feature of the overall design scheme is the use of controlled proportions which are soothing to the senses and lend an understated elegance.
