AVA Design Studio had an uphill task at hand - combining functionality with luxury. Architect Vistasp Bhagwagar and his team charted out a plan for the interiors of an office space in New Delhi - a space wherein co-exists a contemporary workplace setup and the opulence of private chambers. Entering the working area of this office, one is impressed with the clean lines and minimalist look of the place. The work stations are examples of high practical value and aesthetic appeal and are rooted in a sense of earthiness. They are well-etched, airy and full of light and follow a sober colour scheme. Whilst maintaining a comfortable milieu, the design herein reinforces the practical nature of this space. As one moves into the MD’s chambers, one is enthralled by the sheer creativity at work here. It is a far cry from the mundane, closeted cabins that any urban office is known for.
