The Ffolio & Vis-à-vis boutique store by Nisha Mathew-Ghosh and Soumitro Ghosh of Mathew & Ghosh Architects within the shopping arcade of the upmarket Leela Palace Hotel, Bengaluru is a store for designer clothes and products. A minimal palette has been resorted to both in display apparatus and hues where the indirect lighting design provides a deliberate yet underplayed visual focus onto the merchandise. The display of clothes was worked upon as hanging boxes from the ceiling and on stainless steel pipes from the floor. While the product display works on the inverse concept of boxes on the floor (to store all the packaging boxes etc.) and sheets of fully frosted glass to hold the product design objects.
