Architect and Interior Designer
Founder & Principal of NU.DE, Nuru Karim received his Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association [AADRL], London, United Kingdom in 2006. His work experience dates back to 1997. Apart from his own design practice, Nuru has also taught Architecture Design Studios, Design Workshops and is regularly invited as a jury member for several leading national design schools including national competitions. Nuru Karim has lead the NU.DE team winning several awards and competitions for their oeuvre. The “Charkha” was nominated for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2012. Recent accomplishments include winning the NDTV Design & Architecture Award for the “Deployable Arts Pavilion” 2014.
